Form of Shipping
During checkout, you must choose your proper form of shipping. Only one form of shipping will be currently accepted. If you'd like to order Frozen Food along with Live Coral, please do so separately. They cannot be shipped together. Same with Dry goods, They cannot be shipped along with Frozen, or Live products. Please purchase separately! If you do not order separately, you will be billed accordingly, and your order may be delayed.

You can also choose the "Walk in or Show Delivery"' option when checking out. All order,  Live, Frozen and Drygoods, can be either picked up at the store, or delivered to a scheduled swap. Please email us for more details!

Shipping Methods & Delivery Dates

We ship to ALL 50 states! If your ordering from Alaska or Hawaii, please contact us with information about what items are excluded, and extra shipping charges!

All Livestock orders ship on a scheduled basis, using FedEx Overnight at a standard rate of $35.00 Livestock orders over $250 are eligible for FREE Shipping.

Once your order is placed, we will contact you to schedule a ship date. Generally we ship Livestock out Monday through Thursday, but all livestock will be scheduled with you the customer, and JimsReef. If your order can only be shipped a certain time of the week, please contact us before ordering. We generally don't have a problem and can accommodate most situations. We take pride in our Shipping success rate of over 99%!
There are no box charges, Heat/Ice pack charges or Handling charges on livestock orders. You pay the Flat Rate!

All Frozen products ship out on Wednesdays only using FedEx 2nd Day, or Ground at a standard rate of $22.99

Frozen food orders must be in by MIDNIGHT SUNDAY to be shipped out the following Wednesday. Generally Frozen items are shipped out FedEx 2nd day, unless you are in a 1 day Ground Zone, then they'll be shipped out FedEx Ground. We will contact you with the method of transit.
Caution when receiving Frozen foods, We ship frozen foods with Dry Ice. Please if there is any Dry Ice left in the shipping container, do not handle it with your bare hands, it will cause burns!

Drygood products ship on a Flat rate of $4.99 for the US!*

Drygood orders will be shipped either by USPS, or FedEx, depending on the product itself. Most drygoods ship out in 2-3 days, some items may come directly from the supplier, and may take an additional 3-5 day depending on transit time. Other shipping options are available, please email for more information.

*some oversized or heavy items do not qualify for FREE SHIPPING. This will be noted in the product description. We will ship to Canada, but please know that we will add an additional $3.00 to the order to cover the increase in shipping charges.

Out Of Stock Items

If items that are ordered become out of stock at time of shipment, you will be notified of the shortage before shipping. We will not substitute, backorder, or give credit for an out of stock item without prior approval from you. Generally our inventory on the website is very accurate, but we do have customers buy from our retail outlet, or at frag swaps, which may not reflect inventory immediately.

Guarantees and DOA's

Corals are guaranteed for Live Arrival unless otherwise stated.
Package MUST be signed for in order to receive Live Arrival Guarantee - NO EXCEPTIONS. We will not be held responsible for dead coral due to a shipping company error or after it has been introduced to a new tank. Sometimes a coral will pale in color due to shipping stress. A full recovery is expected in 1 to 2 weeks in optimum conditions. This does not constitute a dead coral. In the rare event that a coral is dead or damaged upon arrival, you must contact us within 2 hours of receiving the package along with a photo of the coral. If the coral is damaged, please email us about the situation, generally a damaged coral will recover fully under Correct water conditions. If the coral is dead and the instructions are followed properly, We will issue a credit for the lost coral(s) (shipping not included). Credits must be used within 2 months. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS! Please remember that you are assuming any and all liability for detrimental effect that the frag(s) may endure, such as color changes, growth rate, etc due to the varying environment of aquariums. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

We cannot guarantee Livestock Colors. The photos of our livestock, whether it be a stock photograph, or a WYSIWG Photograph is taken by us, under normal tank lighting. Generally the lighting will be listed under the product description. The photographs are as true to the eye as we take them, with the cameras we use. We cannot control variables in the purchasers aquarium whether it be lighting, water parameters, etc. that will affect the final color.

All of our new arrivals go through a strict quarantine procedure, and are regularly treated for many well known pests. We take pride in the quality and health of the animals we sell. Although, it is always a good idea to properly quarantine all new corals that enter your aquarium systems, whether from us or anybody else!
